Designed for streamlined touring, the Hammerhead 45 tail bag combines weather-ready construction with easy access and stable mounting. Waterproof bag built from durable Cordura fabric with roll-top closure and inner lining, to handle tough roads and changing weather while keeping your contents protected and dry. Quick-release mounting with aluminum alloy allows for easy on and off the bike without compromising stability.

Material and Construction:

• Bar-tacked stress points, triple-stitched seams, and high-tenacity Nylon-6 thread to enhance overall strength and durability.
• Tough polyester webbing used throughout.
• A seam-sealed ripstop inner liner designed to handle heavy rain. Also has an external rain cover for added protection.
• Cordura exterior with coated ripstop layer and a PVC-lined inner construction for added resistance.
• Genuine YKK zippers for reliable performance.
• Premium fittings made from virgin plastics for durability.

• Total capacity of 45L.
• 2 zippered side pockets for rain cover, first-aid kit, or any quick-access items.
• 1 clear zippered top pocket for document and maps.

• Internal mesh zippered pockets under the flap for smaller items.

Convenience:

• The backpack straps make it easily convertible into a backpack when needed, and can be stored in a separate compartment when not in use or when mounted on the bike.
• The additional shoulder strap can be used to convert to duffel for ease of carrying.
• The bag also has 4 grab handles for easy handling during mounting and unmounting.

Easy to Mount:

• 4 point anchoring system to easily mount or unmount, and ensures bag stays in place even on bad roads.
• Comes with 4 mounting straps with inbuilt alloy hooks & 4 anchor loops for quick release and easy on/off from the bike.
• Attach the 4 anchor loops on any 4 fixed points on the bike.
• Simply hook the 4 alloy hooks on the anchor loops and tighten.
• No need for any additional stays/racks.

Care Instructions:

• Wipe clean with a damp cloth using mild soap and water.
• Avoid harsh chemicals or fabric stain removers, as they may damage the material.
• If there are stains which you are not able to remove using a damp cloth, use a soft bristled brush soaked in a mild pH neutral soap and rinse off using cold water. Please note that using the brush could lead to piling which will not be covered under warranty.
• Ensure all zippers and buckles are free from dirt and debris to maintain smooth operation.
• Allow the bag to air dry completely before storage to prevent moisture buildup and fabric deterioration. Store away from the sun & other heat sources.
• Remove bags from the bike when not in use to avoid fabric fading.
• Dry-cleaning or machine washing or using a clothes dryers or hand/dhobi washing or soaking will void the warranty as this will damage the special coatings on the fabric.
• Alter the product or getting it repaired at an unauthorized repair center will void the warranty.
• When you are storing the bag, please do not stuff the item into a smaller space/container as this will damage the coating and void the warranty.
• Don’t compress the inner waterproof liner & raincover aggressively, it may weaken seam tapes over time.
• Make sure the roll top opening is closed fully (atleast 3 folds) to prevent water ingress during rains.
• Ensure straps are fastened securely and excess slack is tucked away before you ride.
• Distribute weight evenly across the bag for better balance & stability.
